Hi, I’m Mark Pattison Grantham. PorchLight Coffee started as a dream to create more than just a place for great coffee—it’s a space where people gather, create, and connect. Our first location in Pacific Beach became a community hub for locals, creatives, entrepreneurs, and everyday coffee lovers. Now we’re ready to expand, and I want you to be part of it.
Our Story: PorchLight Coffee #1 opened with a simple mission: build a space for the community—open, inviting, and full of life. With a 5-star rating, amazing staff, and hundreds of loyal customers, we’ve outgrown our space.
Now, we’re opening our second location in San Diego to bring more seating, more events, and more energy to our growing community. And instead of going the traditional funding route, we’re turning to the people who made PorchLight what it is—you.

Our second location will be located in the community of North Park, San Diego, at 3817 32nd Street. This establishment aims to become a local hub for both coffee enthusiasts and the PorchLight Realty Team.
PorchLight Coffee isn’t just thriving—it’s becoming a movement. Our first location in Pacific Beach proved that great coffee, authentic community, and thoughtful design create something people want to return to daily. We broke $100,000 in sales in the first 38 days of being open. We’ve built a loyal following, achieved profitability, and created a space locals are proud of.
Now we’re ready to scale. Location number two will build on that success with more seating, enhanced offerings, and a members-only pickleball court that sets us apart from any other coffee shop.
